Stafford, Va., October 5, 2026: Idaho and Florida National Guard members now have dedicated help building civilian careers close to home. KSA Integration LLC (KSA), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), has been awarded the Idaho National Guard Career Assistance Program and the Florida Army National Guard J9 Employment Support Program. Both were awarded under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule as 100% SDVOSB set-asides, and both began in late September 2026. They are KSA’s first contracts supporting the Idaho and Florida National Guards.
In Idaho, awarded by the United States Property and Fiscal Office for Idaho, a KSA Career Assistance Specialist embeds with the J9 Service Member and Family Support Branch at Gowen Field in Boise and travels statewide to help Guardsmen overcome unemployment and underemployment. The work includes one-on-one career counseling in person and by phone; at least one workshop or course each month on resumes, interviews, and job search strategy; translating military skills into terms civilian employers understand; and building a statewide network of employers, state agencies, apprenticeship programs, and community organizations so members can find work where they live. The contract includes a base year and one option year, with performance beginning September 28, 2026.
In Florida, awarded by the United States Property and Fiscal Office for Florida, KSA fields a statewide team of six employment coaches, including a working lead, supporting the Florida Army National Guard J9 Employment Support Program. The coaches help Florida Guardsmen find and keep civilian employment through career counseling, resume and interview preparation, employer connections, and follow-through to placement. Coaches are based regionally, so members get help in their home areas rather than traveling to a single office. The contract includes a base year and four option years, with performance beginning September 29, 2026, reflecting the Florida Guard’s lasting commitment to its members’ civilian careers.
“Helping Service Members build civilian careers is our core business. We do this work today for the Marine Corps and the VA, and we’re proud to bring it to Guardsmen in Idaho and Florida who hold two jobs for one country,” said Bryan Altmire, Chief Executive Officer of KSA Integration.
Guard members balance civilian careers with military service, and every activation puts that balance at risk. Both programs exist to protect it, and both measure success in job placements, not just events held. Because Guardsmen live in every corner of their states, KSA brings career support and employer connections to members’ home communities rather than asking them to come to one office. The awards extend KSA’s Warrior Care portfolio into the National Guard.
The awards build on the career and readiness work KSA performs today for the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Readjustment Counseling Service. KSA brings an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system to both programs.
KSA is hiring employment coaches across Florida. Veterans, military spouses, and career professionals interested in serving Florida Guardsmen can view open positions on the Careers page at www.ksaintegration.com.
