George NunezDirector, Business Development
As KSA’s Director of Business Development, George has a strong background in Marine Corps and Joint affairs. As an infantry officer, he served in eight battalions in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Marine Divisions, completing several combat deployments and overseas tours in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Okinawa, Japan. His Marine Corps career concluded in Washington, DC after assignments as a foreign area officer and a strategic planner in Headquarters Marine Corps and joint tours as a politico-military affairs officer on the Joint Staff and at the National Defense University. George has been conferred graduate degrees in management, international relations, and defense studies, and is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to his role as Director of Business Development, George has delivered value in each of KSA’s three portfolios. In Warrior Care, George was instrumental in beginning KSA’s reintegration and readjustment retreats for veterans and their spouses on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In Business Process Improvement, George performed research and technical writing for several Marine Corps studies supporting Training & Education Command and Marine Corps Systems Command. In Data Analytics, George contributed to technical document updates by KSA and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory supporting the Marine Corps transition of an AI-enabled C5ISR system prototype to a Program of Record. George has collaborated on and led proposal responses that are sustaining our current client delivery, diversifying our client base, and continue to reflect KSA’s core values.
George and his wife Martie settled in Myrtle Beach, SC and they have three young adult children who are enjoying life in the Carolinas.
